GETTING TO PARIS

 

From the AIRPORTS :

There are 2 international airports near Paris :

-        Paris – Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) (Northern Paris)

-        Paris – Orly (Southern Paris)

Several ways to get to Paris from these airports :

1.Getting to Paris by TAXI :You can find taxis waiting for passengers outside the terminals at any time.

From CDG Airport: average rate 35 € - 60 € (depending on the moment of your arrival, day or night, week or week-end) – travel time: 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Orly Airport: 20 – 30 € (depending on the moment of your arrival, day or night, week or week-end) – travel time: 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

2.Getting to Paris by TRAIN :

From CDG :

By train RER B, 2 stations are available :

-        « Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 » for Terminals 1 and 3.

-        « Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 – TGV » for Terminal 2

 

3.From ORLY to Paris by TRAMWAY T7 + METRO   

Travel time: 30 minutes

Tariff: 1.7 € + 1 subway ticket 1.80 € (purchase your tickets at automatic machines: 10 for 14,10 €, more interesting than 1 at 1,80 €)

The T7 links Orly Airport to the Paris subway station Villejuif-Louis Aragon on metro line 7 in South Paris, enabling to get to the center of Paris by this line 7 in a few minutes (+/- 15 mn).

4.Getting to Paris by BUS :

From CDG : by “Roissy Bus”  from 6 AM to 11:00 PM

Travel time : 75 minutes                                                Tariffs : Single ride 11 €

Direct transfer from CDG Airport to Paris (Opéra) :
- 5 spots to get in :  Terminal 1-Terminal 2BD-Terminal 2AC-Terminal 2EF, Terminal 3 (previously T9)

Shuttles from Charles de Gaulle Airport >> Paris (Opéra) :
-  every 15 minutes : from 6 AM to 8:45 PM
-  every 20 minutes : from 8:45 PM to 11:00 PM
For your return to CDG from Paris : 
Station to get in :
- Opéra (at the corner of rue Scribe and rue Auber) direction CDG, 8 arrival stations at : T1-T2A, T2B, T2C-T2D-T2E-T2F, T3

Shuttles from Paris (Opéra) >> CDG Airport  :
-  every 15 minutes : from 5:45 AM to 8:00 PM

-  every 20 minutes : from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM

-  every 30 minutes : from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM


From ORLY :

Transfer from ORLY airport to Paris - Denfert-Rochereau RER
Shuttles every 10 to 20 minutes depending on day/night times, from ORLY Sud (South Orly) at door C and ORLY Ouest (Western Orly) at door D.

From 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, Sunday and public holidays

From 6:00 AM to 00:05 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays

 

Transfer from PARIS – Denfert-Rochereau RER – Direction Orly Sud

From 5:35 AM to 11:05 PM from Monday to Thursday, Sunday and public Holidays

From 5:35 AM to 00:05 PM on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays

Travel time : 40 minutes                                                Tariff : 2 €

From ORLY Airport to the bus and metro station PORTE DE CHOISY (south Paris)

At Door C, and bus stop number 4, every 15 minutes (to 40 minutes depending on time and days).
