The 17th International Conference on II-VI Compounds continues a successful series of biennial conferences which started in Durham (UK) in 1983. Recent conferences were held in Niagara Falls, USA, 2003; Warsaw, Poland, 2005; Jeju, Korea, 2007, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2009, Mayan, Mexico, 2011 and Nagahama, Japan, 2013.

II-VI 2015 will be held in Paris, France, from september 13th to 18th, 2015 and is organized by the Institut des NanoSciences (INSP/UMR7588) and the Groupe d'Etude de la Matière Condensée (GEMaC/UMR8635).

This conference provides an international forum for scientists, students and industry representatives, for reporting new developments in basic and applied research on II-VI and related compounds such as oxides and chalcopyrite semiconductors; covering novel synthesis techniques, new physical properties and innovative device development.

In addition, vendors will exhibit the latest equipment available for material growth and characterisation, providing many opportunities for discussions between attendees and vendors during coffee breaks and poster presentations.
